Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Analog Layout Design Engineer to join our semiconductor design team. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical layout of analog and mixed-signal circuits, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and manufacturability. You will work closely with circuit designers to implement complex layouts in advanced technology nodes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform transistor-level layout of analog and mixed-signal blocks such as amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, LDOs, and more
• Understand and implement matching techniques, shielding, and parasitic optimization
• Work with circuit design teams to interpret schematics and meet layout constraints
• Ensure compliance with DRC, LVS, ERC, and other physical verification requirements
• Optimize layout for performance, area, yield, and manufacturability
• Collaborate with verification, packaging, and fabrication teams to ensure successful tape-out
• Document layout methodology, constraints, and design choices

Key Skills & Tools:

• Strong knowledge of analog layout design fundamentals including symmetry, matching, and floorplanning
• Experience with tools like Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Calibre, Synopsys IC Compiler, or equivalent
• Good understanding of physical verification processes (DRC, LVS, ERC)
• Familiarity with CMOS fabrication and layout techniques in advanced nodes (e.g., 7nm, 5nm)
• Ability to work collaboratively with circuit designers and physical design teams
• Scripting experience in SKILL, TCL, or Python is a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or VLSI Design
• [1-3 / 3-5+] years of hands-on experience in analog layout design
• Experience with high-performance and low-power designs is a plus
